About Us
East County Swim League
The purpose of East County Swim League is to support and help organize competitive recreational swimming for the swimmers of the league’s member teams during the summer season by establishing an enjoyable, inclusive, and supportive environment for swimmers and their families.
East County Swim League strives to build a culture of good sportsmanship, positive self-esteem, and healthy community building. The teams of east Contra Costa County introduce our young people to swimming and its benefits that they will take in to future endeavors. These include personal responsibility, life long learning, health, friendship, and positivity. These principles are the foundation for all actions taken by the league such that the best interests of the swimmers always comes first.
Events hosted by league members are held for the swimmers, first for fun and second to determine a winner. The culture of the league always takes precedence over winning, ensuring the best interest of the swimmers is maintained.
Established in 2019 with coordination between Antioch Delta Skimmers, the Aquaknights, Discovery Bay River Otters, Bishop Estates Swim Team, and Brentwood Dolphin Swim Club.
